Current Team

Dung Hong has been a member of VEFFA since 2008. He holds the a B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from University of Technology at Hochiminh City. He is currently a PhD student at Purdue University, Computer Science Department. His research interest is Federated Search, Information Retrieval and Machine Learning.

Liem Phan is a Postdoctoral Fellow at The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, Texas. He was the President of The University of Texas Graduate Student Association in 2010. He is currently serving on The VEFFA Board of Advisors for the term 2013 – 2016. Together with his team, Liem focuses on promoting the professional success of VEFFA members.

Tung Thanh Nguyen is a PhD Candidate in Software Engineering from Iowa State University. He holds a BS from Hanoi University of Education and had worked there for three years before his PhD study. Tung is a VEF fellow of cohort 2007. He was VEFFA Executive Director in 2011 and contributed to LabConnect project. Tung currently serves in VEFFA Board of Advisors and is interested in supporting the professional development of VEFFA members.
