Registration

If you haven't please sign up for our Annual Book Day at http://goo.gl/Hl5dZH. All information about date, time, location and tasks description are included in the form. Your registration will help us plan better for our activities during the day.

Accommodation

Please email Hoa Phan at hoapharm@gmail.com if you need accommodation. We have local volunteers who can host you during your stay for Annual Book Day 2014.

Early preperation

We plan to run some errands, set up the rooms, lay out the boxes of books, etc. on Saturday August 2. Thus if you arrive early you are very welcome to help us! You can give us an email at vnbookdrive@veffa.org if you wish to get involve! Thank you!!

Agenda for August 3

9:45 – 10:00:   Volunteer registration, T-shirt distribution

10:00 – 10:15: Vietnam Book Drive Project Introduction

10:15 – 10:40: Volunteer training

10:40 - 11:00: Everyone introduce

11:00 – 12:30: Sorting, Archiving, Packing books

12:30 – 1:30: Lunch break, slideshow, lottery

1:30 – 5:00: Sorting, Archiving, Packing books

4:30 – 5:00: Data collection

5:00 – 6:00: Photo shooting and Cleaning up

Monday morning August 4

Truck will come to pick up our books on Monday August 4. Current schedule is at 10am. Since we will have around 100 heavy boxes to carry to the truck (thankfully we will have some equipment to help, but it is still significant task!!), it will be extremely helpful for us if you are still available at this time. We know it is Monday morning, but we will try to do as quickly as we can. So if you can, please come back on Monday to help us during this last step! Thank you very much!

Our friends in the US can register to be our US Representatives by filling out USRep form. For those of you in Vietnam you can also become our VN Representatives by filling out VNRep form. Please also visit our US Representatives guidelines and VN Representatives guidelines.
