The project is expected to collect at least 20,000 new and used children’s books and support between 10-20 reading communities in the first drive. In order to achieve that, we would need your help to become U.S. representative to help us collect books across the States.
Position: VnBookDrive4Kids Representatives in the U.S.
Duties:
- Call for books by contacting libraries, professors, students and other organizations
- Pick up or receive donated books in your campus and surrounding areas
- Sort books initially before sending to a gathering place to save shipping cost (the potential date for this year is in September 2016)
- Send donated books to a domestic location at the end of each annual VnBookDrive4Kids project (Shipping cost will be reimbursed)
- Spread information about the project (via email, social network, flyers) to friends, colleagues, professors, and others
To be successful as a member of the VNBookDrive4Kids team:
- Be able to collect and store books until the annual VnBookDrive4Kids project
- Work well independently as well as part of a team with strong work ethic
